Can astrology predict my future?
Astrological charts describe the cosmic energies at play for an individual, an event, or even a collective. They can illuminate energetic probability—but the way an individual works with and responds to these energies is what matters most with predictive outcome. I like to describe the planetary movements as an “astrological weather forecast”: The energetic conditions may be ripe for a move, a new job, or a new love, but whether these materialize (and in what way) depends on the individual(s) involved, and how they respond.
Through astrology, I can help you leverage your highest potential (and bring your challenges and blindspots to conscious awareness), and identify how to work with the planetary energies for your highest benefit.
Bottom line? You have agency. You create your future. But by working with the ebbs and flows of the cosmos, you can go farther and higher than ever before.
Are certain placements “bad” or “good”?
Planetary configurations describe a spectrum of experience that ranges from more blocked and challenges, to highly functional. There are certain “malefics” that ancient astrologers saw as foreboding or ominous (Pluto, Saturn, and Mars, to start)—but in our modern world, we have tools and knowledge available to us that humans in ancient times did not (mental health support, medical advancements, etc).
One of my key strengths as an astrologer is alchemizing these placements, approaching them with creativity and empowerment so they become our placements of profound growth, empowerment and agency.
A favorite quote of mine from evolutionary astrologer Steven Forrest sums up my approach:
